Vocabulary and Sentences for Self-Introduction

Target Audience: Begineer ESL adult learners
Title: Vocabulary and Sentences for Self-Introduction
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, Curriculum Design, Visual Design, and Content Design
Tools Used: Articulate Stroline 360, Vyond for animated characters, AI voice generator Murf AI
This module was created using Articulate Storyline 360. The design process involved careful planning to ensure clarity and effectiveness in teaching self-introduction vocabulary and sentences. Each slide was created with attention to detail, including engaging visuals, relevant text, and interactive features.
The module begins with an opening slide that sets the tone for the self-introduction theme. Colorful characters and images were chosen to complement the title, creating an inviting learning environment.
The following slides covered essential topics such as vocabulary for self-introduction, saying names, sharing personal information through simulated conversations, and ending with polite conversation. The content was organized logically, with clear headings and bullet points to make it easy to understand.
The design focused on keeping users engaged using text, visuals, and interactive elements. Each slide was carefully checked to ensure a smooth flow and progression in the learning journey.
This module also included interactive quizzes on self-introduction concepts, allowing adult learners to practice and reinforce their understanding. It was improved with transitions, animations, and navigation controls to enhance the user experience. The final product was added to my Canvas LMS ESL 101 course, making it accessible and easy for learners studying self-introduction.
